1. About this example
This project uses a fictional entity: Gewko Demo sp. z o.o. (fictional details), ul. Przykładowa 1, 00-000 Miasto, Poland. These are not verified details of a real data controller or business registration.
This text concerns the demonstration website at gewko.com. Accounts at app.gewko.com, children’s records and the relationship with a setting need separate documents. Opening the product website does not give it access to an application account.
2. Loading the website and hosting
Your browser requests the website files and assets from the hosting service. Handling a request involves technical information such as an IP address, the requested resource and browser details. The hosting infrastructure may keep its own technical logs.
This demonstration document does not specify the actual log-retention period or a complete supplier list. Those details need verification before the real service launches. The website does not run its own analytics or advertising pixels.
3. Contact and demo forms
Form fields are used to compose a message in your browser. The website does not submit them to its own endpoint, CRM or database. Preparing a message creates a preview; it does not send an email or reserve an appointment.
When you choose to open email, the browser passes the prepared recipient, subject and text to the program handling mailto links. Your email provider’s rules then also apply. You decide whether to send. Do not enter children’s records, health information or passwords.
4. Copying text and revealing the address
The contact address is revealed after you choose the button. This keeps it out of the initial HTML, but does not provide anonymity or complete protection against automated collection.
Copying text uses your device’s clipboard after a deliberate click. Other applications may have access according to your device settings. If automatic copying is unavailable, you can select and copy the text yourself.
5. Cookies and language choices
The essential gewko_privacy cookie stores your privacy choice for up to 180 days after it is saved, so the website can respect it on later visits. It is not used to build an advertising profile. You can return to the settings panel to review and change your choice, or remove cookies using your browser settings.
If you enable the optional preference, gewko_language stores your selected language for up to 180 days after it is saved. It does not redirect you automatically: the main gewko.com address remains in Polish, and you choose other versions using links. Declining or withdrawing the preference removes this cookie without preventing language switching. Analytics and marketing are inactive; accepting preferences does not enable those tools.
6. Fictional data and external links
Product screens, testimonials and example stories do not represent real children, customers or deployment results. Do not enter real personal records into product demonstration elements.
The login link opens the separate app.gewko.com application. Other external links follow their operators’ rules. This demonstration website is not a mechanism for handling requests about records held in the application.
7. Before a real launch
Before this preview becomes a real company’s offer, provide the actual controller, contact details, processing purposes and grounds, retention periods, recipients, any transfers and a way to exercise applicable rights. The scope must reflect the services actually enabled.
This version does not replace a tailored privacy notice, a setting’s documentation or legal assessment. Changing a form to submit to a server or adding analytics requires a new description of the website’s behaviour and appropriate updates to its settings.
